Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. The U.S. women’s team had a magical day in the magic kingdom Saturday.

Participating in the IWLCA President’s Cup at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort, Team USA played a tripleheader before large crowds that included many high school-aged girls’ lacrosse players. U.S. Blue defeated U.S. White, 12-8, in an intrasquad scrimmage to kick things off.

The U.S. team, which included a mix of gold medal winners from the 2017 squad and some current collegians, then played select teams from the United Women’s Lacrosse League and the Women’s Professional Lacrosse League in short-sided games under experimental FIL rules.

2. The gym rats series continued, this time with a look at official Juliet Baker.

Baker played at Virginia and now officiates in Oregon. As a certified athletic trainer, Baker lives injury prevention and rehab.

3. The Central Ohio Chapter of US Lacrosse continues to have a positive effect on the growth of the game locally.
