Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1.  The wait is over. After finishing as the runner-up three straight times, Boston College finally brought home the school’s first NCAA Division I women’s lacrosse championship, beating Syracuse 16-10.

Syracuse overcame injuries to top offensive threats Emily Hawryschuk and Megan Carney during the season, but its depth got pushed to the brink when Emma Tyrrell received two yellow cards in the first half and had to sit out for the remainder of the game.

2. Maryland and Virginia’s 2019 quarterfinal ended in controversy. The former ACC rivals renew the rivalry today at 1 p.m. on ESPN2. A look at how they got here:

3. Per usual, the NCAA Division III men’s championship delivered as RIT beat Salisbury 15-14 in double overtime to win the title for the first time in school history.

4. Long known for its defense, LeMoyne stuck to its identity in downing Lenoir-Rhyne 12-6 to win its sixth NCAA Division II men’s lacrosse championship.

6. Boston College wasn’t the only New England women’s team bringing home a title this weekend. Massachusetts/Rhode Island won the Red Division at the USA Lacrosse Women’s National Tournament, the second straight time it won the top flight at the event. Central Pennsylvania’s Anna Kaplan received the Heather Leigh Albert Award as the top player.
