Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Maryland’s Nikki Sliwak gave the lacrosse world some inspiration on Friday.

Sliwak, who suffers from anxiety and depression stemming from the loss of her father on 9/11, shared her perspective on living life with a mental illness, and how she’s embracing the moment.

Check out her story now.

2. The Boston Cannons will look to improve upon an MLL playoff appearance last summer. With MVP candidate Mark Cockerton in the fold and additions like Bryce Wasserman, the Cannons could be poised to make a run at a championship.

Check out the Cannons’ team preview here.

Also notable, the Cannons announced the signing on No. 4 overall pick Nick Mellen.

3. Cherie Greer Brown was America’s superstar.

Greer Brown was featured on our cover for the second time in 2005, when she was a 32-year-old going for gold on her fourth stint with Team USA. In the next edition of The Vault series, we profile Brown’s career and catch up with the legend.
