Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. The party was on James Madison Dukes at College Park.

JMU highlighted a busy weekend slate of Division I women’s lacrosse with a 13-8 victory over No. 3 Maryland — its first since 2003. The drama at College Park went down at the same time that Duke pulled away from Notre Dame, Virginia survived Louisville and Northwestern got past a test from Michigan in Ann Arbor.

2. The Ivy League men’s lacrosse race is clear as mud.

After Princeton and Cornell picked up wins last week, both fell to Yale and Penn, respectively this past weekend. Harvard, though, downed Dartmouth to move to 2-0 atop the standings….. for now.

3. Tucker Dordevic broke the internet and ‘Cuse picked up a huge win.

In the most impressive performance of the Gary Gait era, Dordevic dropped five goals, including the goal of the year, to lead Syracuse to the 14-10 win over Duke at the Dome. Elsewhere, Virginia bounced back against Notre Dame, Chris Gray powered UNC past Bellarmine and Vince D’Alto and Conor Calderone made history in Boston U’s win over Lafayette.

4. Ranked teams survive in Sunday’s women’s slate.

Florida, Denver, Richmond and Stanford each picked up victories on Sunday afternoon, including the Gators’ fourth straight.

5. Maryland and Rutgers separating themselves from the pack.

The Terps and Scarlet Knights each picked up blowout wins in Big Ten men’s play. Keegan Khan tallied five points to lead Maryland to the 18-7 win over Penn State, and Ross Scott scored four goals for Rutgers in an 18-7 victory over Ohio State.

6. The Buffalo Bandits just created some breathing room.

The Bandits swept a pair of games against the second-place Halifax Thunderbirds, moving four games ahead in the NLL's Eastern Conference. Dhane Smith dropped eight goals and eight assists combined in the back-to-back 16-11 victories. In the West, the San Diego Seals were upset by the Vancouver Warriors, but second-place Colorado could not take advantage, falling to Panther City.
