Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. PLL All Stars put on a show in San Jose.

The second PLL All-Star Game wowed fans on Sunday night, with the Adversaries topping the Defenders 23-21. Tim Troutner made 24 saves to earn MVP honors for Adversaries, and he chipped in this #SCTop10 play.

In addition to the game, Chrome LC’s Jake Froccaro won the fastest shot competition, beating Jarrod Neumann in the final round at 114 mph. Also Sunday, Marcus Holman took home the accuracy competition, Kyle Bernlohr won the goalie competition, Romar Dennis won the fastest player race and Dhane Smith took home the freestyle competition trophy. 

2. Dewey Egan could be a once-in-a-decade talent from Torrey Pines (Calif.).

The USA Lacrosse West Player of the Year learned the ropes from his two older brothers, but he’s now becoming a trailblazer in the family. Read more on Egan’s successful season.

3. Ella Brislin made the switch from softball to lacrosse, and her Scripps Ranch (Calif.) teammates thank her for it.

Brislin, the USA Lacrosse West Player of the Year, led Scripps Ranch to a CIF San Diego Open title. Read more about Brislin’s 2021 season.

4. Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse has arrived.

Players will report to Boyds, Md., to begin the inaugural season of Athletes Unlimited, which officially gets underway on Friday. Click here for more on the league's founding.
