Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Holy Cross moved quickly on naming its new men’s lacrosse coach. Less than two weeks after Peter Burke was removed from the position, the school named Maryland assistant J.L. Reppert as its new head coach. Inside Lacrosse is reporting that former Johns Hopkins assistant Bobby Benson will fill Reppert’s role at Maryland.

2. Ohio State’s Mitchell Pehlke has lacrosse in his blood – his dad, Kevin, was an All-American at Virginia – but he’s out to make a name for himself with a burgeoning social media portfolio.

3. Zoe Belodeau has been a big-time scorer throughout her Penn career. She’ll be even more important for the Quakers in 2021.

4. Jake Carraway is back for a fifth season and a big reason why the expectations continue to climb for a rising Georgetown program.

5. Bronx Lacrosse, a member of the US Lacrosse Urban Lacrosse Alliance, shared a great success story.

6. The lacrosse community is rallying around another tragedy. Former Siena player Colin Clive is in the midst of a battle with brain cancer and then unexpectedly lost both of his parents within a week. His mother, Barbara, died due to complications of pneumonia and his father, Dave, died of a heart attack.

7. With a 25-game winning streak, Middlebury is the No. 1 team in the Nike/US Lacrosse preseason NCAA Division III women's rankings.

8. US Lacrosse will hold a webinar this Wednesday to highlight some of the latest research on the use of protective headgear in women’s lacrosse that the organization has helped fund.
