Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Duke had no time for a February upset this weekend.

The Blue Devils faced a pair of tricky opponents in Robert Morris and Vermont but passed both tests handily. After dispatching Robert Morris on Friday, the Blue Devils trailed Vermont at the half, but stormed back in the second half to win 15-7.

Brennan O’Neill got his sophomore season off to a fast start, scoring nine goals in the two wins.

Elsewhere, Delaware blew out NJIT to get its season started, Denver survived a test from Utah and Mount St. Mary’s took down Navy in Annapolis.

2. Buffalo and Halifax keep pace at the top of the NLL’s East Conference.

Halifax topped the New York Riptide 13-10 o Friday to move to 4-1 on the season, and Buffalp dropped the Rochester Nighthawks on Saturday behind seven points from Dhane Smith.

3. ESPN announced that it will air more than 450 women’s lacrosse games in 2022.

In an unprecedented move, ESPN will air 29 games on ESPNU or ACC Network. Read more about the exciting news for the women’s game.

4. James Madison is headed for the American Athletic Conference.

The school announced Friday plans to join the AAC as an affiliate member starting on July 1. Click here for the full story.

5. Canada announced its roster for the 2022 World Lacrosse Women’s World Championship.
