• The Israel Lacrosse Association announced it will kick off the inaugural season of the country’s first men’s lacrosse league in January.

• Oconomowoc High School (Wisc.) girls lacrosse coach Erin Ennis is battling stage 4 colon cancer, and his team and community have stepped up to raise more than $30,000 on his behalf.

• Edmonton Oilers winger James Neal grew up in Whitby, Ontario, playing “hockey in the winter, lacrosse in the summer.”

• College Crosse previewed St. Bonaventure’s men’s lacrosse schedule. The Bonnies are looking for their first win in program history.
