Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. The Fall Classic is back for 2021 and what a lineup! The gold and silver medalists, the United States and Canada, and the most recent NCAA champions, Boston College and Virginia, promise a great weekend of lacrosse from Oct. 15-17 at USA Lacrosse headquarters.

2. The next generation of stars will also be on display at the Fall Classic with the USA Select teams facing international competition in the Brogden Cup. The U16 and U18 USA Select women’s teams were announced on Friday and the men’s teams will be announced later today.

3. Janine Tucker, the head women’s lacrosse coach at Johns Hopkins since 1994, announced on Friday that the 2022 season will be her last leading the Blue Jays. She has won 303 games in her career.

4. Cornell’s Jonathan Donville was the No. 1 pick in the National Lacrosse League Draft on Saturday. Donville is headed to the expansion Panther City Lacrosse Club, and is the second straight Cornell pick to go No. 1 overall, following in the footsteps of Jeff Teat.
