Good morning. Our thoughts are with our friends in Texas and all of those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. The nation’s best men’s lacrosse players will continue their efforts to impress the coaching staff when the U.S. men’s training team wraps up the weekend with a Blue-White exhibition on Sunday, Sept. 3 at 12 noon at US Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md. The exhibition is open to the public and free of charge.

2. We wrapped up our “Chasing Rings” video series with the U.S. women’s national team last week – featuring behind the scenes looks at the World Cup and the World Games. See all of the episodes on our You Tube channel. Here’s a look at the final episode, which captures the emotion of the World Games in Wroclaw, Poland.

3. The NFHS released its new rules for boys lacrosse in 2018. Gordon Corsetti, manager of men’s lacrosse officials development for US Lacrosse, weighs in with 10 commonly misunderstood elements of the rulebook.

4. Former Penn State coach Suzanne Isidor was named as the coach for the UC-Davis women’s team on Friday. Isidor was the head coach at Penn State from 2000 to 2010, taking the Nittany Lions to two NCAA tournaments.
