Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Major League Lacrosse announced three more of its season award winners with Zach Goodrich earning the nod as the league’s top defensive player, Ryan Lee being selected as the league’s top offensive player and Sean Sconone repeating as the top goalie in the league.

2. The International World Games Association (IWGA), World Lacrosse (WL) and The World Games 2022 Birmingham Organizing Committee (TWG 2022) announced they have defined a pathway for the Haudenosaunee Nation to be represented at The World Games 2022 — a multi-sport Olympic-style event for sports not included in the Olympic Games.

3. The near misses over his 30-plus year coaching career have made the consecutive Premier Lacrosse League championships for Whipsnakes head coach Jim Stagnitta all the sweeter.

4. Duke women’s lacrosse seniors Catherine Cordrey and Callie Humphrey will both be back for one more year after their expected final seasons in 2020 were cut short due to COVID.
