Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1.  Penn State’s Mac O’Keefe became the all-time leading goal scorer in NCAA Division I men’s lacrosse history, and for good measure scored the game-winner in overtime as the Nittany Lions beat Michigan on Friday night. O’Keefe had six goals in the game and now has 217 for this career, breaking the mark of 212 set by Duke’s Justin Guterding.

2. Johns Hopkins women's lacrosse coach Janine Tucker picked up her 300th career victory as the Blue Jays beat Penn State 13-11 on Sunday.

3. Rutgers women’s lacrosse program had a weekend of firsts, beating Penn State and Maryland for the first time in school history. The Scarlet Knights have five Big Ten wins this year under second-year head coach Melissa Lehman, the most since the program joined the league in 2015.

On the other side of the country, another second-year head coach is also making things happen. Danielle Spencer’s Stanford team is off to an 8-0 start for the first time since 2011 after Ali Baiocco scored eight goals as the Cardinal rallied past USC 16-15.

4. Georgetown avenged its only loss of the season in men’s lacrosse, beating Denver 11-10 on Declan McDermott’s overtime tally.

5. Boston College set the stage for a big-time showdown with Syracuse in women’s lacrosse this weekend by completing a dominating weekend sweep of Notre Dame on Saturday.

6. A scary scene at a high school lacrosse game in Baltimore on Friday has a positive outcome. Loyola Blakefield player Peter Laake was struck in the chest by a ball and had a commotio cordis episode. An AED helped revive him and Loyola coach Gene Ubriaco told the Baltimore Sun he is doing well and he made a return to the school captured on the video below. WHAT WE’RE WATCHING

Is there anything better for a goalie than not allowing a goal when your team is two-men down? Yes, there is. How about scoring a goal yourself? Maryland goalie Logan McNaney did just that in the Terps 18-8 win over Ohio State on Sunday.
