Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. You want chaos? Then the 2019 NCAA Division I men’s lacrosse season is just your thing. Expect another round of big changes in the Nike/US Lacrosse Top 20 this week after four of the top five teams went down this weekend.

• No. 1 Yale fell 13-12 in triple overtime to Penn after the Quakers forced overtime on Tyler Dunn’s goal with just one second remaining and then won it on freshman Sam Handley’s winner.

• No. 2 Penn State won a big Sunday night showdown at No. 3 Maryland, racing out to an 8-1 lead, seeing the Terps get within one, but coming through with a 13-10 win — its first ever over Maryland.

• No. 4 Ohio State fell for the first time this season, running into a buzzsaw as Rutgers posted a 14-6 win behind 17 saves from Max Edelmann.

• Finally, No. 5 Duke fell to rival North Carolina 10-8 as Tar Heel freshman goalie Caton Johnson made 21 saves in his first collegiate start.

2. After falling to his former school, Princeton, in his first crack at it, Denver coach Bill Tierney became just the second NCAA Division I men’s lacrosse coach with 400 career victories after the Pioneers beat Georgetown 16-9 on Saturday.

3. Boston College and Maryland continue to cruise at the top of the NCAA Division I rankings — the Eagles jumped out to a 10-1 lead over No. 7 Virginia in an eventual 16-9 win and Maryland routed Rutgers 20-3.

However, two big Sunday results will shake up the rankings. Notre Dame got 14 saves from Samantha Giacolone to knock off No. 3 North Carolina 9-7 and Northwestern scored 13 goals in the opening half in a 17-13 win over No. 5 Penn.

Michigan also continued its magical season, improving to 13-0 with a 16-11 victory over Johns Hopkins. The Wolverines will get their biggest test of the season this Saturday when they head to College Park to play No. 2 Maryland.

4. It’s hard enough to beat a team once, much less twice, especially when the games are only six days apart. USC was up to that task, knocking off rival Stanford twice by a single goal. On Sunday, USC goalie Riley Hertford made three of her eight saves in OT, including this one on the doorstep in the Trojans 11-10 double OT win.

5. Very cool stuff as the men’s lacrosse locker room at the University of Michigan was named after John Paul. Paul played a major role in helping lacrosse become a varsity sport at Michigan, and in the design of the Wolverines’ lacrosse complex.

WHAT WE’RE READING

• Chase Lalone, a high school lacrosse player from Florida, was temporarily paralyzed from the chest down after a hit from behind in a game earlier this season. On Thursday, he walked out of the hospital unaided.

• Robert Morris lacrosse player Alex Cash is an inspiration to his therapists as he continues to improve following a mysterious illness.

• Lynchburg’s Andrew Thomas is back on the field. Something he’s grateful for after a scary episode last season.

• Darien’s 76-game winning streak in boys’ lacrosse came to end in last year’s state championship game. The Blue Wave started a new streak with an impressive 11-7 win over Yorktown.

WHAT WE’RE WATCHING

Tyler Dunn’s game-tying goal and Sam Handley’s game-winner in Penn’s 13-12 triple OT win against No. 1 Yale.
