Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The Premier Lacrosse League playoffs start tonight in Columbus, Ohio.
Archers and Redwoods face off at 7 p.m. Eastern on NBC Sports Network. The winner will advance to play the loser of the Whipsnakes-Chaos game Saturday (6 p.m. ET, NBCSN) in next week’s semifinals. The Whipsnakes-Chaos winner gets a bye next week and will advance to the championship game.
Atlas and Chrome also play Saturday (3 p.m. ET, NBC Sports Gold) in the consolation bracket, the prize for which is the No. 1 pick in next year’s college draft.

2. Three weeks remain in the Major League Lacrosse season.
Three games Saturday — Chesapeake at Boston (5 p.m. ET, Lax Sports Network), Denver at New York (7 p.m. ET, ESPN+/MLL) and Atlanta at Dallas (8 p.m. ET, Stadium) — all have playoff implications.
Chesapeake and Denver are currently tied atop the standings at 8-5 apiece. Atlanta and Boston are both 7-6. Dallas is clinging to its playoff hopes at 6-8.
Chesapeake, Denver and Atlanta could all clinch playoff berths with wins.
3. The Mann Cup, Canada’s Senior A box lacrosse national championship, also gets underway tonight in Victoria, British Columbia. The Victoria Shamrocks will host the two-time defending champion Peterborough Lakers in a best-of-seven series that features many players from the National Lacrosse League.
