Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. John Danowski offered stirring remarks at the Long Island Lacrosse 9/11 Memorial in a rededication ceremony held last Saturday at Farmingdale State University. Danowski said it was the first speech he has ever written before delivering it.

“For me, the locker room has always been a sanctuary where everyone is equal,” he said during it. “Everyone matters. Where a common vision trumps all. … It is a place of unity and purpose.”

2. This Hispanic Heritage Month, USA Lacrosse is excited to showcase the growing lacrosse scene and the diversity within one of its most promising programs — Miami Sol. Throughout the month, we will share first-person stories from members of the Miami Sol program, their proud heritage and the love for lacrosse that binds each together.

3. Paul Rabil is still making deals a little more than a week after his retirement. Yesterday, the Premier Lacrosse League co-founder became Therabody’s newest athlete ambassador. 

4. Ohio State junior Mitchell Pehlke inked a deal with STX, the latest NIL signing for the company that earlier this week also announced Chris Gray, Brennan O’Neill and Connor DeSimone.

5. Syracuse announced their alumni rosters for this weekend’s alumni games. This year’s teams will be ‘Team Z’ in honor of John Zulberti, and “Team 15 for Life” in honor of Rob Kavovit. More here.
