1. Marie McCool, the former North Carolina and current Team USA and Baltimore Brave standout, graced the cover of the November edition of US Lacrosse Magazine, which was released Thursday.

2. Charlotte Hounds coach Jim Stagnitta will not return as head coach in 2019, the team announced Thursday. He was the franchise’s most winningest coach. The news comes three days after the announcement of Paul Rabil’s Premier Lacrosse League.
"The Hounds would like to thank Coach Stagnitta for three seasons of dedicated service to the Hounds organization and the MLL," general manager Mike Cerino said. "We wish Jim the best moving forward."

4. The Premier Lacrosse League continues to make headlines as more news drops, announcing members of its advisory board.
5. A trio of goalies – David Mather, Gowah Abrams and Jacob Lazore – shared their motivation behind making the 2019 U.S. indoor squad.
“Lacrosse is lacrosse wherever you go,” Abrams said. “The whole Lyle Thompson saying, ‘It’s not for the name on the front or the back. It’s for the Creator.’ We all play for one guy. I don’t care what jersey I have on. As long as I get a chance to play, it’s a win in my book.”
5. Boston University has entered a new era under new coach Lauren Morton, who returns to her alma mater hoping to take the Terriers back to the NCAA tournament, something she experience four times as a player.
“I had four phenomenal years in NCAA's here,” she said. “I think it’s something that’s inspiring for the girls to hear and makes them want to work hard.”
