2. Charlotte Hounds coach Jim Stagnitta will not return as head coach in 2019, the team announced Thursday. He was the franchise’s most winningest coach. The news comes three days after the announcement of Paul Rabil’s Premier Lacrosse League.

"The Hounds would like to thank Coach Stagnitta for three seasons of dedicated service to the Hounds organization and the MLL," general manager Mike Cerino said. "We wish Jim the best moving forward."

3. The #BestOfLax Best Game of 2018 poll dropped Thursday. Read about the four finalists and cast your vote today!

4. The Premier Lacrosse League continues to make headlines as more news drops, announcing members of its advisory board.

5. A trio of goalies – David Mather, Gowah Abrams and Jacob Lazore – shared their motivation behind making the 2019 U.S. indoor squad.

“Lacrosse is lacrosse wherever you go,” Abrams said. “The whole Lyle Thompson saying, ‘It’s not for the name on the front or the back. It’s for the Creator.’ We all play for one guy. I don’t care what jersey I have on. As long as I get a chance to play, it’s a win in my book.”
