Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. The world's best are set to test out a new discipline of the sport.

The new World Lacrosse Sixes discipline gets a high-profiles test this weekend with the Super Sixes event at USA Lacrosse headquarters on Saturday and Sunday. The U.S. men and women will host Canada and the Haudenosaunee Confederacy with stars like Zach Currier, Dana Dobbie, Justin Guterding, Selena Lasota, Belle Smith and Lyle Thompson all suiting up.

The action starts Saturday at noon and all 12 games will be streamed live on Lax Sports Network. Walk-up tickets are also available.

2. A look at a trio of women's college programs in our Fall Ball Focus series.

Denver has a number of holes to fill after its veteran leaders have moved on, but 50-goal scorer Bea Behrins is just one reason the Pioneers will look to continue their recent success.

Hofstra’s Katie Whelan moves to a bigger stage this season following the graduation of star Alyssa Parrella.

Belle Martire has quietly made a name for herself at William & Mary. She expects the Tribe to do big things after overcoming adversity in recent years.
