Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. One week until Fall Classic.

The lacrosse community will converge on US Lacrosse headquarters for the three-day event running from Oct. 18-20. Catch the U.S. national team face off with Canada and NCAA champions Maryland women’s lacrosse and Virginia men’s lacrosse.

Can’t make it? Don’t worry. Lax Sports Network is streaming all 10 games at Fall Classic.

2. Molly Garrett sure is excited for Fall Classic.

Garrett, the Michigan women’s lacrosse star, got the invite to join Team USA after competing at a training weekend over the summer. Garrett has been a workhorse for the Wolverines after moving from recruit to leader.

3. Sarah Forbes just wanted to have fun playing lacrosse.

Forbes always loved running, and lacrosse gave her the chance to do so. She took her talents to Maryland and won three NCAA titles, before taking home gold with Australia in the 2005 world championship.

Now, she can add Hall of Famer to her list of accolades.
