Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Liam Gleason may have left Albany to take the head coach position at Siena, but he’s still bringing with him the same spirit that made the Great Danes unique. Now, he's back at the school where he served as an assistant from 2008-10.

“When your coach is saying, ‘let’s have a lot of fun,’ everyone is flying around,” senior attackman Michael Reilly said. “From my experience, this is the best we’ve ever played.”

2. The NLL is planning a “major announcement” at the home of its media partner, Bleacher Report, on Thursday, according to Chris Jastrzembski. Among those that will be attending the announcement: NLL Commissioner Nick Sakiewicz, Turner President David Levy, Gary Furman of GF Capital, and Brett Yormark, CEO of Brooklyn Sports and Entertainment.

According to Jastrzembski, “all signs appear to be pointing” to the announcement of another NLL franchise located in New York.

The news comes at an interesting time for the league, which is in the midst of a labor dispute with the PLPA that has forced the postponement of training camp events.

3. The Denver Outlaws aren’t just a dynasty — they're a blueprint for a successful MLL franchise. After taking home a third title in five years, members of the Outlaws share what makes the team so special.

Even with the emergence of the PLL, the Outlaws still boast top names like Zach Currier, Dillon Ward and Max Adler.

4. U.S. women’s national team and North Carolina coach Jenny Levy will be headed to Philadelphia to speak at the 2019 US Lacrosse Convention, which runs from Jan. 11-13. She will present to high school and youth girls’ lacrosse coaches.

In honor of Native American Heritage Month, we present to you the Spirit of the Stick.

The matchup of the day went down on a random basketball court in the middle of New York City. R.J. Kaminski battled lacrosse legend Kyle Harrison in a classic 1-on-1 basketball game.

No spoilers here. Just brace yourself for some intense competition.

Some nice stick skills for the women’s lacrosse team at Arizona State.
