1. The U.S. claimed its fifth straight bronze medal at the World Indoor Lacrosse Championship, but this didn’t feel like just another bronze. From our November print edition, Inside the building process for the U.S. men’s indoor lacrosse program.

2. This time it counts. Loyola's Tewaaraton winner Pat Spencer hits the hardwood for his first regular season game with the Northwestern men's basketball team when the Wildcats host Merrimack tonight.

3. Looking to take advantage of the number of visitors to Las Vegas over Super Bowl Weekend, the San Diego Seals will host the Colorado Mammoth in an NLL game in Vegas that Saturday. As part of the weekend, Seals’ season ticket holders will be given free hotel rooms in Las Vegas.

4. From Athletic Republic, a smarter way to get stronger.

5. Black Friday will take on new meaning this year for the alumni of the Ridley and Springfield boys’ lacrosse programs in Southeastern Pennsylvania. More than 100 alums — including Team USA alumni Greg Gurenlian, Brett Moyer and Kyle Sweeney — will play a game the day after Thanksgiving to raise funds for the HEADstrong Foundation.
