Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. We announced our Division III All-Americans.
The accolades continue to roll out. Yesterday, we announced both the USA Lacrosse D-III women’s and men’s All-Americans. On the women’s side, Tufts led the way with five All-American selections, including two first-team nods with Catherine Lawliss and Molly Laliberty.
On the D-III men’s front, Salisbury, the No. 3 team in the Nike / USA Lacrosse Division III Top 20 in the last update on May 10, received seven All-American selections. Cross Ferrara, Jarrett Bromwell, Brett Malamphy and Kevin Murphy all earned first-team honors for the Sea Gulls.

2. Noelle Lambert appeared on this week’s episode of USA Lacrosse Magazine’s “The Stick Drop” with ESPN analyst Sheehan Stanwick-Burch. Along with discussing her journey that she hopes will result in a spot this summer in the Tokyo Paralympic Games, Lambert also talked about her connection with former Pace player Courtney Pabst.

3. Few position groups better personify Notre Dame’s mantra of “egoless clarity” than the faceoff duo of graduate transfer Kyle Gallagher and Charlie Leonard. Both specialists were selected in the Premier Lacrosse League college draft last month, a distinction that likely will not be duplicated for some time.
“Honestly looking back on it, I wouldn’t change a thing,” Leonard said. “He’s a great guy, a great teammate and a great brother to have.”

4. Loyola’s rejuvenation this spring mirrors senior goalie Sam Shafer’s redemption. Patrick Stevens talked with Shafer after the performance of his career against Denver that clinched the Greyhounds a spot in the NCAA quarterfinals two weeks after they thought their season was finished and a month since Shafer did not get the starting nod on senior day.
