Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. In our Division I women projected rankings, two final four teams from this past season slot into the Nos. 6-10 group. Boston College, which shocked the country with a championship game run, and Penn State, which made its second straight final four, find themselves in the way-early top 10.

2. Our way-early projections for Division I men continued into the top 10, with the Nos. 6-10 group. National runners-up Ohio State made the cut, along with a Hofstra team that started strong in 2017, but eventually missed the tournament.

3. The Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse League is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. In a world that’s seeing more youth sports becoming privatized, the MBYLL remains steadfast in its commitment to the public model.

• Coming off a second straight championship, Salisbury tops the Division III Way-Ahead rankings on Inside Lacrosse.

• Once the Michigan job opened up, Dave Pietramala's name immediately came up. Pietramala, however, said he's not leaving Johns Hopkins.

• UMBC men's coach Ryan Moran was happy about his first year with the program, but he's looking to improve for his sophomore coaching season.

• Kennard-Dale (Pa.) advanced to its first state final game, a win dedicated to player Calie Swegon's father, who is fighting cancer.

• Ramapo (N.J.) saw one of its best seasons in recent memory end at the hands of Delbarton (N.J.) in the Tournament of Champions.

• Limestone star faceoff man Kevin Reisman signed with the Ohio Machine.

WHAT WE’RE WATCHING

The "Chasing Rings" series is back for Episode IV! We're only weeks away from the FIL World Cup in Guilford, England and coach Ricky Fried is getting his team prepared. Watch as Team USA competes as a full squad for the first time, battling rival Canada in New Haven, Conn. over Memorial Day Weekend.

Westlake (N.Y.) coach Hunter Burnard never thought his team would be playing for the state title this Saturday, so much so that he planned his wedding on the same sday in Pennsylvania. It's an ultimate win-win scenario.

• The Way-Early Division I men’s and women’s rankings will hit No. 1 tomorrow. Stay tuned to see which teams round out the top 5, and if there are any surprises at the top.
