Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. NCAA athletes across the country are now to make money from endorsements and other ventures.

The NCAA’s board of directors decided Wednesday night to suspend rules barring athletes from making money off their names, images and likeness. The move went into effect Thursday morning, with athletes from multiple sports announcing sponsorship.

As for lacrosse, Virginia Tech junior Kennedy Lynch announced that she is a Barstool athletes, a social media post that was shared by Barstool founder Dave Portnoy.

2. The U.S. women’s training team capped training camp on Thursday with a rain-soaked field day.

3. Athletes Unlimited continues to add to its list of women’s lacrosse stars.

U.S. training team members like Becca Block, Molly Garrett, Ally Kennedy and Lindsey McKone were among 12 players added to the inaugural season of Athletes Unlimited women’s lacrosse.

4. Sam Swart’s speed is making her a factor for the U.S. women’s national team.

Swart, the Syracuse senior, has used her speed in transition during her stint with the national team, and she’s relishing the opportunity to play with stars like her current college coach, Kayla Treanor.

5. Penn State defensive coordinator Peter Toner will be named the next head coach at Gettysburg, according to Inside Lacrosse.

Toner, who has led the Penn State defense for more than a decade, would take over for Gettysburg legend Hank Janczyk.
