Good morning. Here's the latest from the lacrosse world:

1. The USA women’s Sixes squad is on to the semifinals

Putting together their most complete effort so far at The World Games, the U.S. defeated the Czech Republic 25-6 on Thursday, setting up a semifinal showdown against Great Britain.

2. Athletes Unlimited getting ready for 2022 season to start.

Athletes Unlimited announced its final roster for the 2022 women’s lacrosse season and the 56-player group includes 12 players from the U.S. women’s team that won the gold medal at the World Lacrosse Women’s Championship earlier this month.

The AU season will be played at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md., beginning next Thursday.

3. USA Lacrosse released its high school All-America teams on Thursday.

4. A potential gold mine in the desert.

Taryn VanThof found plenty of things to like when she pursued the Arizona State head coaching job. She’s looking to make some noise with a Sun Devil program ripe with potential.

5. Pictures from the 2022 USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals.
