Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The Ivy League will not hold league competition or host championships in any spring sports.
The conference’s council of presidents outlined the parameters for practice and competition for this spring, a week after news emerged that they planned to grant a limited waiver that allows 2021 graduates to participate in intercollegiate athletics during the 2021-22 school year as graduate students.
Yesterday’s statement does still allow for practices and training opportunities for enrolled student-athletes and holds out the potential for local spring competition, “if public health conditions substantially improve.”

The disappointment will abate.
The sun will rise and it will shine.
And when that day comes we will be joyous, prepared & appreciative.#HarvardIsComing just a little later than we planned #GoCrimson pic.twitter.com/4DKSrFhk0D
Feel for these athletes. Wouldn’t know how to process this if I were in their shoes — especially looking across conferences and seeing teams compete. The decision is disappointing but the lacrosse community is here to support you. https://t.co/S8x1ca6Iik

2. The No. 2 ranked Notre Dame women’s team postponed both of their games previously scheduled for this weekend.
3. Rutgers redshirt-senior attackman Kieran Mullins was named a 2021 Wayne Duke Award Recipient by the Big Ten Conference and Indiana Sports Corp. A $10,000 scholarship accompanies the award and is presented to one male and one female student-athlete each year in the conference for their achievements in academics, athletics, extracurricular activities and leadership.
