Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Richie Connell is an emerging star at Richmond.
Connell, the 6-foot-5 offensive threat, was underrecruited until coach Dom Chemotti saw him play during a fall event a few years ago. Now, he’s an important piece to a Richmond Spiders team that will look to be a contender in 2021.

2. The 2021 WCLA Tournament has been canceled due to COVID-19 related health and safety concerns.
US Lacrosse and the WCLA Leadership Committee made the decision Thursday to cancel the event scheduled for Virginia Beach on May 5-8. Read the announcement here.
3. Harlem Lacrosse hosted its virtual benefit last night, bringing together names like Chris Long, Drew Brees, Renee Montgomery, Anish Shroff and Romar Dennis to help raise money for the organization.
In total, the benefit helped raise well over the goal of $500,000.

4. Terrell Seabrooks is passionate about education, and never more so than after his father’s passing in August.
Seabrooks’ father always preached the value of education, and he’s making it a reality — making the transition to Harvard Law School after finishing the 2021 season. Brian Simpkins of Blaxers Blog spoke with the Princeton men’s lacrosse defenseman.
5. The lacrosse community is mourning the loss of one its most passionate members. Macy Jaggers, who shared in the lacrosse community through her Twitter account @BossyBritches72, passed away this week.
Lacrosse fans on social media have shared their condolences for the defense attorney and proud lacrosse mother to Culver (Ind.) junior Max Melton.
Jaggers was also a board member for Bridge Lacrosse, a program in the Dallas area helping bring lacrosse to underserved youth.
