Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. There was plenty of broadcast news coming out yesterday, including the Patriot League announcing its 2018 lineup to be aired on CBS Sports Network. The package includes 10 men's games and two women's games. The CAA announced its streaming package on the Lacrosse Sports Network, which includes 11 men's games and five women's game - beginning with Georgetown at Towson in a men's showdown on Feb. 24

And one day after being renamed as the head coach of the Chesapeake Bayhwaks, Dave Cottle went on Twitter to highlight the importance of mainstream coverage of the sport.

. I think the Mll is at a pivotal point in league development We have gone from an ESPN league to a ESPN2 ,to a CBS sports, to a ESPN3 ,to now an LSN league. TV is critical to our success as a league. We have to get this right for the players and the owners and the time is now.

2. We look back on the Best of Lax in the December 2017 issue of US Lacrosse Magazine, including the tectonic shift in the college recruiting landscape with new NCAA regulations.And how the U.S. women's national team helped bring lacrosse to the world with the debut of the sport in the The World Games in Poland.

3. Loyola already has one of the best stadiums in the sport at the Ridley Athletic Complex, and now the Greyhounds have an indoor facility to boot.

WHAT WE’RE READING

• ESPNW takes a deep dive into the philosophy behind the Women's Professional Lacrosse League (WPLL), and its commissioner, former Team USA captain Michele DeJuliis.

• College Crosse gives an update on the saga at Air Force, where some suspensions for players and coaches have ended, but uncertainty remains in other cases.

• Ty Xanders of Recruiting Rundown takes a look at some of the standouts from Adrenaline's Blackjack Classic (which was a qualifier for the US Lacrosse Nationals in the younger age groups).

• Baltimore Ravens running back Alex Collins' background in lacrosse continues to get more attention. Head coach John Harbaugh brought it up during a press conference this week and now here's an article where he attributes some of his success to lacrosse.

• Ben Rubeor will be reunited with his old college coach, Dom Starsia, on the sidelines with the Boston Cannons in 2018. The Cannons named Rubeor as their new offensive coordinator.

• Why Paul Rabil was the winner of SportTechie's award as the Most Tech-Savvy Athlete.

• Rutgers' facilities are in line for an upgrade, thanks in part to a generous donor.

• Jenna Dingler is the new head coach at Caldwell University.
