Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Kim Hillier was named the next head coach for Drexel women’s lacrosse.

Hillier joins the Dragons staff after spending six seasons as an assistant at Stony Brook, leading the Seawolves’ high-powered offense. She replaces former Drexel coach Jill Batcheller, who took the Villanova job on June 26.

2. Allison Kwolek felt something different when she visited Clemson this summer.

The former Richmond coach was wowed by Memorial Stadium and the school’s facilities, and felt the role of leading Clemson’s newly founded lacrosse program was meant for her. Kwolek checked in with USA Lacrosse Magazine a day after accepting the head coaching position at Clemson, which will begin play as a Division I women’s lacrosse program in 2023.

3. USA Lacrosse announced the list of invitees to this month’s Men’s and Women’s National Team Development Program Combine.

A total of 140 athletes will make the trip to USA Lacrosse headquarters for the Men’s Combine, while 160 athletes make the list for the Women’s Combine.

4. Maryland women’s lacrosse adds another transfer.

The Terps added former Princeton midfielder Natalie Pansini, who was the No. 21 recruit in the 2020 class before missing most of the past two seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The news comes a day after the Terps added former Penn defender Abby Bosco.
