2. NCAA President Mark Emmert announced Thursday that all Division I fall sports championships have been canceled, with the exception of FBS football. Emmert said he hopes to find a way to hold these championships in the spring, which could impact the 2021 college lacrosse season.

According to ESPN, Emmert also said the NCAA is entertaining the idea of using bubbles for championships in the "first half" of 2021, specifically mentioning basketball.
