Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. The confusion over eligibility for this year’s college seniors added another chapter yesterday. There was a report that the Ivy League would maintain its tradition and prevent graduate students from participating in athletics, meaning current seniors would have to play at another school.

However, Yale’s athletic director, Vicky Chun, tweeted that they were still looking at options.

The information from @danaoneilwriter regarding @ivyleague 5th year student-athletes is inaccurate. We are still exploring options for undergraduate eligibility.

Princeton’s Michael Sowers tweeted out that he was still enrolled at the school and weighing his options, and got a shout out from ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt.

2. The World Games, a multi-sport Olympic style event that will include both men’s and women’s lacrosse, has been postponed from next summer until July 2022. The move came about because of the postponement of the Tokyo Olympics this summer.

3. Sisters Gabby (Penn) and Livy Rosensweig (Loyola) met on the field as opponents for the first time in a real game March 7. Livy Rosenzweig called it a “really special opportunity.”

Little did Gabby Rosenzweig know, the last game she'd play in 2020 would be against her sister, Livy.

4. Ohio State’s Tre Leclaire and Ryan Terefenko were among a group of prominent college seniors who said they would be coming back for a fifth season at the current school.

5. New head coach Tim Soudan will see a lot of familiar faces as the coach of Chrome LC in the Premier Lacrosse League this summer.

WHAT WE’RE READING

• Artist Blake Jamieson has recently gravitated to the sport he played in high school, lacrosse, for his work. He was featured in the April issue of US Lacrosse Magazine.

• US Lacrosse Sankofa clinician Rick Burton is helping to bring the sport to a diverse group of young athletes in Harford County (Md.).

• The Mt. Lebanon (Pa.) High School boys’ lacrosse team was featured as part of ESPN’s Senior Night segment with Scott Van Pelt.

• Liza Barr didn’t become Gettysburg’s all-time leading scorer after her senior season was cut short, but it was still “one hell of a ride.”

• After 18 games at Syracuse, Albany was finally scheduled to the have the Orange come to the state’s capital. That game was canceled this year, but Albany head coach Scott Marr hopes they’ll get that chance in the future.

• Inside Lacrosse’s Ty Xanders is reporting that longtime North Carolina commit Daniel Kelly will instead play at Maryland next season.
