Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Domination at Dorrance Field.

No. 1 North Carolina met No. 5 Duke in the primetime matchup on Thursday night. The Tar Heels pulled away from an 18-4 victory behind a standout defensive performance and big games from an offensive trio of Jamie Ortega, Ally Mastroianni and Scottie Rose Growney. 

Also in ACC action, Virginia got back on track with an 18-11 victory over Virginia Tech. Ashlyn McGovern dropped six goals to lead the Cavaliers to their third ACC win.

2. Notre Dame adds to its tournament chances at Arlotta.

The Fighting Irish held Chris Gray to just one goal and Liam Entenmann made 14 saves to fuel a 12-5 victory. Notre Dames moves to 3-1 in the ACC — right in the thick of the NCAA tournament race. North Carolina sits at 1-4 in conference play and face Duke in its final regular season game. Click here for the full recap.

3. The Tewaaraton Top 25 lists are out.

Among the men’s Tewaaraton finalists are three members of Maryland (Maker, Wierman, Wisnauskas) and Georgetown (Bowen, Bundy, McElroy). Click here for the full list.

In the women’s list, North Carolina features four different players (Mastroianni, Moreno, Ortega, Trenchard). Reigning Tewaaraton winner Charlotte North also highlights the 25 finalists. Click here for the list.

4. The Next Collegiate Lacrosse League made a trip to USA Lacrosse.

The league, which features six HBCU men's club teams, hosted its Week 3 on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse headquarters. In the primetime game, the final of six games, Morgan State topped Delaware State in the final seconds in a battle of 5-0 teams. More from a historic day today.

5. A new generation of Black Athlete Activism in lacrosse.
