The South and West Regions have taken off over the last three weeks, jumping right into the spring season.

While the West Region Top 10 remains intact from the preseason, the South Region has already undergone changes. The top two teams in the South faced each other, with Dallas Jesuit (Texas) retaining its top billing against St. Andrew’s (Fla.). Episcopal School of Dallas has vaulted into the top three on the strength of a 7-0 start, highlighted by wins over IMG Academy (Fla.) and Highland Park (Texas).

In the West, all but No. 10-ranked Jesuit Portland (Ore.) have begun play, and the top nine teams are a combined 25-0 with early results not enough to create any changes just yet. Top-ranked St. Ignatius Prep (Calif.) plays a highly anticipated matchup with No. 9 Sacred Heart Prep (Calif.) this week in a rematch of the CIF Central Coast Section championship, which SHP won after four earlier losses to the Wildcats last year.

Next week will include the first updated rankings from the Mid-Atlantic Region, and the Northeast and Midwest Top 10s will start March 29 — along with the first full update to the National Top 25.
