Utah Leaps into Top 5 of WCLA Division I Top 20
There was quite a bit of shuffling in this week’s WCLA Division I Top 20, highlighted by three new teams jumping into the top 10.
The biggest mover was Utah, which vaulted up nine spots to land at No. 5 this week after defeating No. 11 BYU. The Utes, 8-1 overall, have won five straight since their only loss of the year against Washington.
No. 7 Florida State Club and No. 9 Notre Dame Club each climbed four spots to also join this week’s top 10. Notre Dame, 10-0 overall, is one of three remaining undefeated teams, along with No. 1 BC Club (9-0) and No. 18 Dominican (10-0).
The top of the ranking remained unchanged, with Boston College Club, Pittsburgh Club and Georgia holding the top three spots. No. 19 Washington, 6-2 on the season, was the only newcomer in this week’s ranking.
