The final regular season WCLA Division I Top 20, released Wednesday, reflects the same thing we saw in the first ranking in February, specifically, defending champion Boston College Club at No. 1.

Heading into the final week of the regular season, the Eagles remain undefeated after improving to 13-0 with four wins over ranked opponents at the Mile High Tournament in Colorado last week.

No. 2 Georgia, last year’s championship runner-up, has also positioned itself for another title run. The Bulldogs moved up one spot this week after an equally impressive showing in Colorado, with victories over Notre Dame Club, Michigan Club, Pitt Club and Colorado Club.

No. 3 Pitt Club, No. 4 Virginia Tech Club and No. 5 Colorado Club round out the top five.

No. 11 Texas was the biggest mover this week, vaulting nine spots after a strong showing in Colorado that included a narrow one-goal loss against No. 1 Boston College Club. The Longhorns are 11-4 overall. No. 17 Northeastern was the only newcomer in this week’s ranking.

Selections for the 16-team WCLA Division I Championship Tournament will be announced next week. The championship tournament will be played May 9-12 in Virginia Beach, Va.
