It's status quo once again in this week's USA Lacrosse Division II Women's Top 20, with West Chester, Pace and Maryville all remaining undefeated and continuing to own the top three positions.
As the regular season nears the end and conference tournaments get underway, most of the top teams in the poll just keep churning out victories. Notable winning streaks can be found throughout the ranking.
In addition to the undefeated runs by the top three, No. 4 Regis and No. 6 Florida Southern both extended their winning streaks to 10 games last week, while No. 7 Grand Valley State has now won nine straight. No. 8 Tampa brings a five-game streak into this week's SSC tournament, and No. 10 Flagler has won 13 of its last 14.
Basically, the top teams are playing their best lacrosse as they move towards the postseason, which means there are some great games coming just ahead. This is going to be fun.
