Rollins Off to Hot Start in USA Lacrosse Division II Women's Top 20
It’s been a slow start to the Division II women’s season, with just four USA Lacrosse Top 20 teams in action. Those four teams have combined for a 7-0 record through the first week.
A perfect 3-0 start for No. 13 Rollins has bumped the Tars up one spot from the preseason. Meanwhile, No. 11 Flagler stands at 2-0 after wins over unranked foes Florida Tech and Palm Beach Atlantic.
The schedule gets a little busier this week with five more Top 20 teams inaugurating their campaigns. No. 2 Florida Southern, a final four team last year, opens with a pair of marquee matchups, as the Mocs visit No. 11 Flagler on Wednesday before facing No. 7 UIndy in a neutral-site battle on Friday.

Rollins (+1)
The Tars have established a tradition of starting the season with flair, winning their first 12 games in each of the past two years, and they appear to be on track for another similar showing in 2024. Rollins completed a three-game road trip Sunday with a lopsided 23-3 win at Montevallo after earlier victories over Lee and Alabama-Huntsville. Rollins forced 19 turnovers against Montevallo and had six players score at least four points. The Tars are averaging 21 goals per game and return to action with their home opener against Lincoln Memorial on Sunday.
