The top six teams in the USA Lacrosse Division II Women's Top 20 remain unchanged this week after posting a collective 11-0 record.
Top-ranked Tampa improved to 5-0 and flexed its offensive muscles with a combined 50 goals in two victories, while No. 2 Florida Southern also posted a lopsided win in its lone contest.
With two victories over ranked opponents and three wins overall, No. 3 Pace might have enjoyed the best showing among the top teams, capped by wins over No. 16 Seton Hill and No. 13 Regis on consecutive days. Sophomore Annie Sheehan delivered the unassisted game-winning goal in the final minute against Regis.
With a 4-0 start this season, the Setters have won 46 of their last 49 games dating back to the start of the 2023 season.
No. 7 Lynn jumped two spots after recording a pair of victories over ranked teams, both in overtime. The Fighting Knights started the week by handing No. 9 Embry-Riddle its first loss of the year, 14-13, and closed the week with a 9-8 win at No. 12 UIndy, with Rebecca Clark’s fourth goal securing the win in extra time. Lynn’s 5-0 start is the best in the program’s six-year history.
With a 4-0 record to start the season, No. 19 Saint Anselm moved into the ranking for the first time this season, the only newcomer in this week’s Top 20.
Games of note this week include No. 14 Flagler hosting No. 9 Embry-Riddle, No. 5 Grand Valley State at No. 13 Regis, and No. 18 Northern Michigan vs. No. 6 Maryville.
