This season, USA Lacrosse will celebrate the accomplishments of players across Divisions I, II and III each Tuesday with Player of the Week recognition.
Players of the Week are selected by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors based on a variety of factors, including individual performance and impact on team success.
Ellie Masera, Stony Brook
The start Ellie Masera has had to 2024 is astounding. The senior is averaging nine points per game in a 3-0 start for Stony Brook, and she saved her best performance so far for Arizona State.
She had 11 points (six goals, five assists) and 10 draw controls against the Sun Devils three days after she had five goals, one assist and seven draw controls against Bryant. That’s 11 goals, six assists and 17 draw controls for the week. Not bad.
Marielle Colalillo, Adelphi
Sophomore attacker Marielle Colalillo was a key performer in the Panthers’ 19-10 road victory over No. 2 Florida Southern, registering a 10-point outing with five goals and five assists. Colalillo, playing in just her second game with Adelphi after transferring from New Haven, scored her five goals on seven shots while adding two ground balls and one caused turnover in the statement victory.
Caroline Sullivan, Gettysburg
Sullivan had 10 goals and three assists across a pair of wins for the Bullets last week. She had four goals and two assists in an 18-3 win over Messiah before posting six goals and one assist in a 17-10 win over Denison.
Sullivan did more than just score against Denison, as she contributing four ground balls, two caused turnovers and three draw controls, too.
