The affinity for Maryland is still high, evidenced by Tuesday’s USILA Division I Preseason Top 20 and reaffirmed by the selections made to Wednesday’s USILA Division I Preseason All-Americans.
The Terps, one day after earning the No. 1 spot in the preseason coaches poll, placed three players on the first team of the USILA Division I Preseason All-America list and two more on the second team, pacing the nation with five players honored. Virginia and Notre Dame each earned three All-America nods, while Georgetown, Princeton and Cornell each earned two.
