Harmonica, Hogwarts and Bob Dylan with Sam King, the two-time Harvard captain and preseason All-American.
How does it feel to be one of the only two-time Harvard captains ever?
Being selected by your peers, your teammates, your best friends is a huge honor and it means a ton to me. It comes with the responsibility of guys looking to you to help lead them to win.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I play guitar and harmonica. I was in a band (called “Steep Grade”) freshman and sophomore year of college.
If you were a wrestler, what would your entrance song be?
Probably “9-5” by The Stews.
What snacks do you get at a movie theater?
I’ll get popcorn and the Crunch chocolate. I’ll put the Crunch into the popcorn.
What was your dream job as a little kid?
My dream job was to be an NFL head coach. I loved sports and wasn’t athletic enough to be a football player.
If you could be one fictional character, who would you be?
Harry Potter. Hogwarts is a cool spot and he’s always up to some sort of adventure.
What would be the title of your autobiography?
I just watched the Bob Dylan movie, so I feel like a good title could be “Blowin’ In The Wind.”
What’s your strangest superstition?
I’m not too superstitious. I’ve got some pregame routines, some shooting routines, wall ball.
OVERTIME (from Ryan Ambler)
If you were a dog, what breed would you be and why?
I would be a Chesapeake Bay Retriever because they’re a hunting dog and I like to hunt. It’d be fun chasing ducks and birds.
