Breakfast burritos and fantasy football with Virginia preseason All-American Cole Kastner, a 6-foot-7 defenseman who gobbled up 29 ground balls and scored a pair of goals in 2022.

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?

An NBA player. Basketball’s been my favorite sport since day one.

What is your favorite hobby ?

Fantasy football. Always looking to make trades. I’m a scrappy manager.

What’s it like being 6-7?

It’s a blessing, for sure, and there are other times when it can be a pain. Especially on a plane when your knees are bunched up.

What’s one thing you can’t live without?

I have a pair of these Nike Air Force 1 Flyknits that are light baby blue, and I wear them every game day.

Breakfast, lunch or dinner?

Breakfast. My go-to is a breakfast burrito — eggs, bacon, pico de gallo, potatoes, guacamole, cheese and chipotle mayo.

Would you rather live in the ocean or in space?

Gotta be the ocean, but I am pretty scared of sharks.

Who would play you in a movie about your life?

Who’s the guy from “The Office?” John Krasinski? He’s a tall guy.

What movie scene always gives you goosebumps?

In “Moneyball” when Scott Hatteberg hits the homerun for the 20-game win streak.

What’s your 40-yard dash time?

It’s been a while. I’m guessing right around 4.7.

If you could play another sport in college, what would it be and why?
