ATLANTA — The College of Idaho has ascended to the top spot in the New Balance Division II Weekly Coaches Poll. The Yotes (9-0) split the 22 first-place votes with former No. 1 and current No. 2 Kennesaw State (10-0), but managed to push in front thanks to eight more total votes.

Kennesaw finished its season as the SELC champion, while College of Idaho will host the PNCLL tournament this weekend in Caldwell.

St. Thomas (13-3) kept its spot in the third chair after capturing the UMLC title. Grand Valley State (9-3), which lost to the Tommies in the UMLC finals, moves up a spot to No. 4, while Utah (9-3) hopped two spots into fifth.

Both jumped former No. 4 Rhode Island (7-2), which dropped to No. 6.

There were no new additions to the poll this period.
