Chris Hogan is on the move.

The Cannons LC midfielder has been sent to Whipsnakes LC along with Drew Simoneau in exchange for Kevin Reisman. The initial report came from Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on Monday, and the league social medial channels announced the move Tuesday afternoon.

Hogan, who was never traded during his nine-year NFL career that featured a productive tenure with the Patriots, played in one game for the Cannons — ironically against the Whipsnakes. Whipsnakes coach Jim Stagnitta must have liked what he saw from the former All-ECAC selection at Penn State, at least enough to make a push to acquire him.

Hogan did not record a statistic in his lone Cannons appearance. Simoneau, a faceoff specialist, has been lackluster in three games this season. He's won just 31 of 74 draws with 12 ground balls.

Reisman, the lone player going back to the Cannons in the trade, will give head coach Sean Quirk a new option at the faceoff X. He's only taken six draws this summer, winning half of them.
