On Tuesday, ESPN unveiled the nominees for The 2022 ESPYS, which will air live on July 20 at 8 p.m. Eastern on ABC from Los Angeles.

The ESPYS celebrate major sports achievements, remember unforgettable moments and honor the leading performers and performances from the sports world. Fan voting for all categories is now open on ESPYS.com through Sunday, July 17.

Boston College superstar and two-time Tewaaraton Award winner Charlotte North is one of four nominees in the category of Best College Athlete, Women’s Sports. North capped her NCAA career with her second consecutive Tewaaraton Award and leaves Boston College as the all-time leading goal scorer in Division I women’s lacrosse history. North won a national championship in 2021, ending a three-season streak of losing in the title game. North was also the first pick in this year’s Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse draft.

North will contend with Aliyah Boston (South Carolina women’s basketball), Jaelin Howell (Florida State women’s soccer) and Jocelyn Alo (Oklahoma softball) for an ESPY.

Logan Wisnauskas became Maryland’s all-time points leader this season, leading the Terps to an undefeated season and national championship. For his efforts, Wisnauskas captured the Tewaaraton Award and was the first overall pick by Chrome LC in the Premier Lacrosse League College Draft.

Wisnauskas will contend with Bryce Young (Alabama football), Dante Polvara (Georgetown men’s soccer) and Chet Holmgren (Gonzaga men’s basketball) for an ESPY.
