ATLANTA — After downing the second-ranked team in the country, Brigham Young is the unanimous top choice in the New Balance MCLA Division I Weekly Coaches Poll.

The Cougars (7-0) swept all 26 of the first-place votes after defeating Concordia-Irvine (7-1) on Saturday in Provo, 12-11.

The Eagles remain in the No. 2 chair, but are 39 points behind BYU. Clemson (10-1), Liberty (7-1) and Florida (9-1) stay in the same spots as last week, filling out the Top 5.

USC (6-1) continues its surge up the polls. The Trojans were ranked No. 19 in the first poll and have made their move into the Top 10 this week.

Cal Poly (2-6) has exited the poll this week, making way for UC Santa Barbara (4-4) at No. 25.
