BEST WOMEN’S RECORD-BREAKER
For the women’s player whose new record is most impressive.
ABBY HORMES
One year after Charlotte North set the lacrosse world on fire by scoring 102 goals in a single season, Abby Hormes broke that record quietly. The High Point star finished her 2022 campaign with 103 goals setting a new high-water mark in Division I women’s lacrosse.
ASHLEY HUMPHREY
As a redshirt-freshman, Ashley Humphrey set the Division I women’s records for single-season assists (88) and assists per game (4.63). Humphrey, one of the top young players in the nation, is part of ushering a new wave of success into the Stanford program.
CHARLOTTE NORTH
The queen of the north stands alone at the top of the Division I women’s goals leaderboard, etching her name into the No. 1 spot with 351 goals. North finished her career with a season-high 115 points.
KAYLA TREANOR
Fresh off a gold medal, Kayla Treanor retired as the women’s national team’s all-time leader in both points (77) and goals (44). In her U.S. career, Treanor won two gold medals and also compiled ee assists, which is the third-most in program history.
