Breaking Sam Apuzzo’s two-week streak at No. 1 overall, Kayla Treanor went first during Monday night’s Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse draft.
Week 4 is shaping up to be the best yet, especially with a new No. 1 on the leaderboard. Dempsey Arsenault has overtaken Kayla Wood, who spent two weeks comfortable atop the standings. Now Arsenault holds a slim lead over Wood, and both third-place Taylor Cummings and fourth-place Kady Glynn are within striking distance, too.
Those four represent the captains for this week, and it was Team Glynn that selected Treanor with the first pick.
With just two weekends left in the inaugural season of Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse, it’s anyone’s game. Check out what the teams look like for Week 4 below.
