Albany Got Revenge
No. 6 Albany 20, Binghamton 8
One year after being upset in the conference semifinals, Albany dominated Binghamton 20-8 to secure its eight America East tournament title. Since 2003, the Great Danes have won eight titles, four in the last five years.
“That is complete a weekend as we ever had from Thursday night's game to today's performance. Every kid had both oars in the water, pulling in the same direction,” said Albany coach Scott Marr, who has been at the helm of all eight of the program's America East Tournament titles. “I am really proud of our effort, to go from where we were since losing in the semifinals last year and putting in the effort since September.”
Albany got a team-high five goals from Justin Reh, who also tallied an assist. Connor Fields also tallied a team-best six assists, and added a hat trick, for nine points. Mitch Laffin had five points.
Big Ten Championship
No. 2 Maryland 10, No. 8 Ohio State 9
Maryland Wins Back-To-Back Big Ten Championships
Despite an early 3-1 lead for Ohio State and a tied 4-4 score at halftime, the No. 2 Terps defeated Ohio State 10-9 for the second straight Big Ten title.
Maryland edged the Buckeyes with a 6-5 second period with the game-winning goal coming from Collin Heacock at the 3:27 mark. Heacock finished with two points.
Connor Kelly led the Terps with five goals, while Matt Rambo had three points on two assists and a goal.
Ohio State got a team-best four points from Tre Leclaire on a hat trick and assist.
CAA Championship
Towson Wins Third-Straight CAA Crown
No. 9 Towson 9, UMass 4
In the history of the CAA, Towson is the only team in the conference to win three straight conference titles – and the top-seeded Tigers achieved that feat for the second time on Saturday with a 9-4 win over fourth-seeded UMass.
Towson opened the match with a 4-1 first quarter, followed by an even second and third periods. The Tigers pulled away with four straight goals in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
Ryan Drenner led Towson with three points on two goals and an assist, while Tyler Konen and Mike Lynch had two points each. Alex Woodall went 8-for-16 on the faceoff.
UMass had three points from Grant Consoletti and two from Dan Muller.
NEC Championship
Bryant Comes Back to Win NEC Title
Bryant 5, Hobart 4
In comeback fashion, trailing 3-2 at halftime, Bryant upset top-seeded Hobart 5-4 to snag its fifth Northeast Conference Tournament title behind 10 saves from tournament Most Valuable Player James Werner. It was the lowest-scoring championship game in NEC history.
"We've seen James Warner be very consistent for the last four or five games," said Pressler. "He was really seeing the ball today and did a much improved job in the clearing game. He has had a remarkable season, and he was on his game this weekend."
Bryant had one goal each from Brett Baker, Jake Buonaiuto, Kyle Cornell, Tucker James and Cam Ziegler.
"For me personally, this is something I really wanted for our senior class," said Bryant head coach Mike Pressler. "The Class of 2017 were freshmen the year we beat Syracuse, and they have been incredible ambassadors to our program for four years. For all of us involved with this team and for me in particular, we wanted this for them so badly."

Air Force Beats Richmond – Again
Air Force 9, No. 18 Richmond 6
With a 9-6 win over second-seeded Richmond, top-seeded Air Force claimed its second straight Southern Conference title over the Spiders thanks to a strong defensive performance from the Most Outstanding Player, sophomore Brandon Jones, who snagged a game-high seven ground balls.
Air Force went up 2-0 just two minutes into the game. Richmond was quick to respond with two goals, but the Falcons scored six straight goals into the third quarter.
Richmond rallied with a four-goal run of its own, but Air Force held on to its lead with a final tally by Cameron Carter.
Andrew Tien led Air Force with a hat trick, while Chris Walsch had one goal and two assists.
Richmond was led by Layne Collins, who also tallied a hat trick.
Regular Season Finales
Army Upsets Notre Dame
No. 19 Army 10, No. 4 Notre Dame 9
It took overtime to upset the No. 4 Irish Saturday afternoon.
David Symmes, who had a team-high four goals, scored the game-winning goal at the 3:06 mark in extra time to lift No. 19 Army over Notre Dame 10-9 to close out its regular season.
Avery Littlejohn had three points for the Black Knights, while Cole Johnson, Nate Jones and Conor Glancy added two points apiece.
Dan Grabher, who snagged 12-of-21 faceoffs, became the all-time leader in faceoff wins in Army history with 472 wins.
Notre Dame was led by Brendan Gleason (four goals) and Mikey Wynee (three goals).
Goalie Evan Molloy Scores Goal in Syracuse’s Win Over Colgate
No. 3 Syracuse 11, Colgate 9
Goalies continue to score goals this season.
As time expired, goalie Evan Molloy, who recorded nine saves, dished the ball downfield for his first-career goal to take No. 3 Syracuse to an 11-9 win over Colgate.
Brendan Bomberry led the Orange with four points, while Jordan Evans, Sergio Salcido and Nate Solomon tallied three points apiece.
Sam Cleveland had a team-beset six points for Colgate.
