Vero Beach wrapped up the regular season with a win over Bullis School (Md.) and a loss to Agnes Irwin (Pa.), which was ranked No. 17 in the country. The Fighting Indians, whose other loss was to national No. 1 McDonogh (Md.), began their renewed quest for a Florida state championship on Monday with a 13-1 win over South Fork (Fla.) in a district semifinal. The Sting stayed unbeaten with an impressive 18-5 win over St. Mary’s Episcopal (Tenn.), which was previously unbeaten, and finished off the week with a win over first-year program Bartlett (Tenn.). In the win over St. Mary’s, Elizabeth Farnsworth had nine goals, four assists, 12 draw controls and four groundballs, and Griffin Gearhardt had eight goals and 10 assists. Previous: 2
3. Milton (Ga.), 8-3
What a week for the Eagles, who snapped a three-game losing streak with a weather-delayed 19-6 win over Lambert and followed that with two wins in the Spring Fling at St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Va.). The Eagles beat Holy Cross (Md.) 9-4 and then beat Robinson (Va.) 14-12. Robinson was the 2016 Virginia High School League Class 6A champion. Sophie Baez scored 14 goals in the wins, Hannah Demis had eight. In the win over Lambert, Kelly Hyman had five goals. Previous: 3

The Bulldogs easily beat Mountain View (Ga.), 22-2, in their only game of the week, as their high-powered offense continues to produce. North Gwinnett averages 17.2 goals per game. The Bulldogs do not play again until April 12. Previous: 4
5. American Heritage-Delray (Fla.), 16-0
The Stallions finished off the regular season in style, knocking off previously unbeaten Barron Collier (Fla.) and then pounding Oak Hall (Fla.) and Ponte Vedra (Fla.). Megan Mangines scored 13 goals combined and had two assists, seven draw controls and five ground balls and was also strong on the draw. The Crusaders had their 29-game win streak end with a 15-4 loss to national No. 3 St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Va.), but rebounded with a notable 16-9 win over St. Anne’s-Belfield (Va.). Previous: 6

The Raiders beat Western (Fla.) 16-6 to finish the regular season on an 11-game winning streak. The lone loss was to American Heritage-Delray (Fla.). St. Thomas was set to face Plantation (Fla.) in the district semifinals Monday. Previous: 7

The Trojans went 2-1 on a swing through Maryland last week. They beat Easton and Severn School before losing to Roland Park Country (Md.). They battled back from an 8-5 halftime deficit against Easton and won 16-8. Emma Grace Wisdom had nine goals in the three games. Previous: 8

Last week was an active one for the Ramblers, as they travelled to the east coast to challenge several nationally-ranked squads. Loyola Academy came away with wins over No. 15 Georgetown Visitation (D.C.), Robinson Secondary (Va.) and Stone Ridge (Va.). No. 3-ranked St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Va.) handed Loyola its first loss of the season on Saturday, but the Ramblers were competitive in the 16-14 decision. Previous: 1

After topping St. Ignatius Prep (Calif.) 15-9 on March 28, the Hornets now own wins over the only two teams to hold the No. 2 position in the West through five weeks of the season. They beat former No. 2 Colorado Academy (Colo.) on March 20. Charlie Rudy and Jamie Level each tallied four goals against St. Ignatius, while Allie Level had three goals and three assists, and Katie McGrath registered 13 saves in goal. Previous: 1

The Wildcats went 0-3 last week, but won’t be punished for a challenging schedule. Following the loss to Novato, they fell to defending Pennsylvania independent schools champion Episcopal Academy 14-8 before giving national No. 4 Good Counsel (D.C.) a scare in a 10-9 decision in a doubleheader at Spring Fling in Virginia. Ignatius was leading Good Counsel with seven minutes left and couldn’t hold on.
