The Warrior/US Lacrosse Players of the Week are named each Tuesday to recognize the most outstanding individual performances in high school boys’ and girls’ lacrosse in each of the five regions — Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest and West — outlined in our high school coverage.
Northeast
Cooper Moore, Brunswick (Conn.)
Moore finished with four goals as the Bruins opened the season with a 12-6 road win over Landon (Md.). He netted three consecutive goals to give Brunswick a 6-3 lead at halftime and Brunswick never trailed from there.

Jack Keating, Gonzaga (D.C.)
Keating scored three goals, all in the first half, to help the Purple Eagles defeat Bullis (Md.) 11-8. Gonzaga is off to a 4-1 start with a loss to Georgetown Prep.

Owen Caputo, Middle Creek (N.C.)
The senior attackman became the fifth player in North Carolina to reach 400 career points when he scored five goals and dished out two assists in an 11-4 win over Apex (N.C.). He opened the week by scoring eight goals in a 16-5 win over Apex Friendship (N.C.) and now has 405 career points, including 236 goals. The North Carolina career record for goals scored is 271. The career points record is 472.
